“5 Star Central Hospital” – How Adams Oshiomhole Duped President Buhari And Edo People

On Tuesday, 6th of December 2016, the State Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Chief Dan Osi Orbih, the governorship candidate Pastor (Barr) Osagie Ize-Iyamu, his deputy, Hon John Yakubu and other party leaders were forced to stop at the “5 star central hospital” along Sapele road, as one of the leaders Hon. Wilson Ibawah suddenly fell ill. In the confusion that engulfed the convoy, we drove into the 5 star complex.

To the amazement and disbelief of the party leaders and members, it was discovered that the hospital was not staffed, equipped or functional. There were no doctors, nurses or hospital equipment. Water has not been connected to the hospital. It was just a building! A huge carcass of a building! It was then it dawned on us that Adams Oshiomhole deceived President Buhari to come and commission a project that was not ready or near ready. Today makes it exactly one month since that dubious commissioning. It will interest you to know that the contract for the renovation of the hospital was first awarded in 2011 but because of some structural defect, a section of the building collapsed. At least one life was lost. In 2014, the contract was re-awarded to A&K construction. A&K is the same company building Adams Oshiomhole palatial home on Okoro Otun Avenue in GRA. It is alleged that some of the funds meant for the construction and equipping of the “5 star central hospital” was diverted to fund the building of the mansion on Okoro Otun. To date, N9.1b has been spent for the construction as well as equipping of the hospital that has now been discovered is not in a position to prescribe even panadol.

It is condemnable, barbaric and egocentric to have contrived a commissioning for the so called 5star central hospital.

We call on Governor Obaseki to set up a panel to investigate the outright deception of Mr. President and Edo people in the dubious commissioning of a project that was not ready by Adams Oshiomhole. We also appeal to Governor Obaseki to as a matter of urgency complete the project and invite Mr. President to come and commission it so that he may not be viewed as an accomplice in the fraud!

In our shock, the drivers were instructed to take the patient Hon. Wilson Ibawah to UBTH for proper medical attention. I am pleased to inform you that at the time of writing this report, Wilson Ibawah has recovered, and is at home resting with his family.
